Silver Thyme

Lemony flavour and aroma is identical to the standard English Thyme variety, unique for its variegated leaves which appear silver from afar. A preferred variety for hanging baskets as well as a border plant, creating a beautiful accent! Produces pale lavender-pink blossoms that attract butterflies. Thyme is typically low maintenance, but will need to be pruned to encourage a bushy growth and prevent woody growth. Sensitive to over watering, as thyme is susceptible to fungal diseases and root rot if conditions are too wet. Height 6-12 inches.
