Lavender Thyme

Lavender scented! This aromatic variety is grown for its attractive glossy evergreen foliage and fragrant pale violet coloured flowers. Forms dense low bushes. Plant in sandy, well drained soil in full sun. Thyme is typically low maintenance, but will need to be trimmed back after flowering to encourage a bushy growth. Sensitive to over watering, as thyme is susceptible to fungal diseases and root rot.
