Violet-blue flowers that pop in contrast to its dark glossy foliage. Tolerates a variety of soil conditions, but requires good drainage. Thrives in shade but can tolerate some partial sun. Medicinally, Periwinkle is known for its astringency, which allows it to help relieve diarrhea, hemorrhaging, excessive menstrual flow and aid in inflammation of the urinary tract. Spreads aggressively. Please plant responsibly and keep contained. Height 3-6 inches.
