An easy and rewarding hardy perennial, with prolific fragrant lavender coloured blossoms that pollinators can’t resist! Commonly found along roadsides in eastern Canada and U.S. Prefers well drained soil but is tolerant to a variety of soil conditions as long as it remains moist. Thrives in full sun to part shade. Makes a pleasant tea and a great choice for potpourri. Good air circulation is necessary, as bergamot is at risk of powdery mildew. Height 1-3 feet.
