Highest faradiol content! This neat, compact variety was developed for gardens but chemical analysis reveals it may also have potent healing properties. In a European study it was shown to have the highest faradiol triterpenoid content among 10 varieties tested. Faradiols are believed to be most responsible for calendula’s anti-inflammatory activity, and manufacturers now emphasize the importance of faradiols in their skin creams and ointments. In the garden, Calypso Orange provides a continuous display of large flowers with bright, clean orange colour and dark centres. Ht. 25-30cm (10-12in.).
