Chinese herb used traditionally to treat headache and to nasal congestion. Also used for pain of the extremities, sciatic neuralgia, ezcema and itching. Thorn-covered berries harvested in autumn all over China. Pungent, bitter flavour. Can be toxic if improperly used.
