As its name suggests, it is exceptional for its height as well as size of flower heads, that can produce up to a cup of seeds each! Feathery leaves can be used to season salads, cooked meats, vegetables while seeds are used for pickling. Even better, dill is easy to grow and attracts helpful insects to the garden. Plant 1/4-inch deep in loamy soil in early summer. Once seedlings come up after 10-21 days, and plants are 1-2 inches tall, thin to 12 inches apart. Best stored frozen. Height 1m.
