This is one beautiful garlic, with brilliant shiny purple and silver wrappers. The flavour is strong, but not hot, and has no aftertaste. Kitchen tests prove that this variety is one of the best for baking, with a fine texture not unlike cooked carrots. Cloves, 8-12 per bulb, are easy to peel. Originally from the Republic of Georgia.
