Fuggle Hops
Humulus lupulus 'Fuggle H'
Uses: Medicinal/Beverage/Industrial Duration: Perennial (hardy in zones 3-8)
Many classic beer recipes call for Fuggle. The original variety was introduced by Richard Fuggle in 1875 in England. Our variety is the American version known as Fuggle H, and it has higher oils and is more potent than the original. The aroma is pleasantly mild yet hoppy with wood and fruit tones. It has short "sidearms" and thus can be planted with tighter plant spacing. It will grow in hot areas with alkaline soils, and it has good resistance to mildew and pests. Alpha acid 4-5.5%.
Due to USDA regulations, this item can not be shipped to the USA.
