These are the classic beer making hops used by European and North American brewers. The bitterness is rated by the alpha acid content - the higher the alpha acid, the more bitter the hop. All plants are female. Medium bitterness, mild flavour, good aroma; for Bavarian-style lagers. Alpha acid 4-5%.
