Chases away nematodes! Marigolds suppress nematodes, the tiny worm-like parasites that feed on roots and cause serious damage such as as wilting, stunting and death. Farmers in India have used marigolds to control nematodes for centuries. This variety, Nema, was specially developed for nematode control. Plant it as a cover crop to clean up infested areas or plant it among the susceptible veggies such as onions, cucumbers, beets, peppers and tomatoes. Ht. 50cm (20").
