Attractive shrub or small tree of the Caribbean with showy bell-shaped yellow flowers. Often grown for hedging in the tropics or as pot plants in temperate areas. Rich source of cardiac glycosides used for heart disease. patients who are intolerant of digitalis. Like other oleanders, all parts are poisonous. Do not use without medical supervision. Grows to 6m/20ft. but can be maintained at 1m/3ft with regular pruning.
