Essential ingredient in goulash, paprikash, and other Hungarian and Balkan dishes. Paprika is made from the ground seeds and walls of the paprika pepper. Unlike the rather insipid powder usually available in stores, paprika should have a pronounced sweet or pungent flavour. Culture is much the same as bell pepper.
