Dries dark raisin brown, 12-15cm/5-6” long, 2-3cm/1-1.5” across. Another essential for the traditional mole sauce; also for seafood and other sauces. Heat: 3-5. Previously sold incorrectly as ‘Poblano’. ‘Poblano’ is the fresh form of the ‘Ancho’ chile (which see).
