Valuable normalizing herb for gynaecological problems involving the uterus and ovaries. Root helps regulate the release of hormones by the ovaries. Used for menopause, ovarian cysts, uterine infections, menstrual problems, endrometriosis, morning sickness, and to prevent miscarriage. Beautiful woodland native of eastern North America with wand-like white flowers. Becoming scarce in the wild. Requires moist, rich, well-drained soil in partial shade. Seeds need cold treatment to germinate. Ht. 30-60cm/1-2ft.
