Chinese herb. Anti-malarial properties, attributed to the compound artemisinin; shown to be very effective. -- Chinese type used in Chinese medicine. Consists of several forms with varying leaf shape and growth habit. May in fact be a complex of several different species all known and used as qing-guo.
