Turkish rocket is a member of the cabbage family. It comes back year after year and provides young tender leaves which are suited to cooking much like mustard greens. The larger older leaves tend to be too bitter for most palates, but the young leaves are very tasty. The flower stems and buds can also be harvested and are actually "sweetish," lending themselves to replace cabbage in recipes and as side dishes. A very hardy plant that likes sun and a good amount of water.
