Greenhouse Production Positions

Propagators/Transplanters
The propagator/transplanter takes and sticks cuttings, transplants seedlings and plugs, and waters plants. Persons suitable for the position love gardening and plants, are quick with their hands, and love working in a greenhouse environment. Some weekend work is necessary. Stay-at-home moms welcome to apply; hours can be flexible for dropping off or picking up children. Seasonal (Jan. to June) postions open.

Shipping Positions

Order Pickers and Packers
Order pickers and packers are needed during our busy spring plant shipping season between April and June. Order pickers are responsible for collecting plants in the greenhouses for customer orders. They must be energetic, quick on their feet, and accurate. Order packers are responsible for preparing plants for shipping and packing them in Richters' unique shipping boxes. They must be quick with their hands and able to accurately check plants against orders. These positions require workers to be on their feet in a greenhouse or packing house environment. Hours and days will vary according to shipping schedules, but generally will be 3-4 days a week. Pickers will generally work from Thurs. to Sun. Packers will generally work most Mondays to Wednesdays. Stay-at-home moms welcome to apply; hours can be flexible for dropping off or picking up children.
