SUCCESS WITH SEEDING

As we eagerly await the arrival of spring, many of us are pouring through
various seed catalogues, planning the perfect garden. Though the weather
outside may be cold and snowy, late winter is the time we should be
thinking about spring. Spring is just around the corner and many of us
will want to get a head start on the growing season by starting our plants
from seed. This seminar is meant to help you achieve success with seeding
through discussion of some of the common reasons why people experience
failure when attempting to germinate seeds. The discussion will also
include some of the common reasons why seedlings fail after successful
germination. We will cover: soils, methods of seeding, lighting, and
watering. So, sit back, relax, take a few notes, ask a few questions but
most of all, have some fun with seeding!
