Yes you can! You can plant herbs in the fall and they will come back next year. Not only that fall-planted herbs will give you earlier and bigger harvests. Fall is also the ideal time to plant garlic, shallots, saffron, and classic roses. Some herbs can even be seeded in the fall for an early start next year.
