Regurgitating Cat

I have a 4 year-old, overweight, spade female cat that I acquired about 6 months ago. She tends to regurgitate mostly undigested food on a near daily basis. I have tried feeding her several commercial foods but none have made any difference. Do you have any suggestions?

Your cat sounds as though she would benefit highly from a good, homemade diet. Please see Richard Pitcairn’s "Natural Health for Dogs and Cats", Juliette de Bairacli Levy’s "Cats Naturally" and Ian Billinghurst’s "The Barf Diet" for ideas and recipes. It is best if you take about two weeks to get her to change her diet by beginning with 3/4 of her present food mixed with 1/4 new, followed by both foods mixed half and half, then 3/4 new food with 1/4 old. If she is still regurgitating her food after the transition is complete, please give her a good acidophilus supplement at 1/4 human dose (as given on the bottle label) as well as 1/2 teaspoon Slippery Elm (Ulmus fulva) powder in her food twice a day.
