I am hoping you can give me some direction. I am trying to develop a new product with herbs and was hoping you could tell me who might be able to help.

There are many different types of products one can make with herbs and each requires different expertise. For example, medicinal products require specialized knowledge about product formulation, government regulation, packaging, and marketing. Products for culinary or aromatic uses are conceived, developed, manufactured, and marketed very differently than medicinal products are. No one is expert in all areas and in all jurisdictions.

In most countries now there is a herb trade organization. Contact the organization in your country for references to companies and consultants who can assist you. There are international organizations you can contact also. For example, the International Herb Association (www.iherb.org) can assist with culinary and aromatic products. The Herb Growers and Marketers Network (www.herb.net) publishes "The Green Pages" (www.herbworld.com) which lists consultants who can assist (but get the printed version; the online version is highly abbreviated). Other organizations to contact are the American Herbal Products Association (www.ahpa.org) and the Herb Research Foundation (www.herbs.org).
