Oregon Grape Root to Sell

My wife and I have approx. 1000-1200 lbs of harvested grape root to sell. Our buyer, Carrie Grove, recently passed away right in the middle of an order. My uncle has approx. 1500-2000 pounds to go with ours; he was working with Carrie. We really want to get this business going but need a little information on what needs to be done to process the root for what you need. We know it needs to be chipped, completely dried and bagged -- any info will help.

I am so very sorry to hear of Cary’s death. He was my Oregon Grape Root supplier for almost 15 years. This last year saw him mostly not working, so I figured his time with this crop was lost. It was nice to talk with you, and YES, I would honored to represent you and your product(s).

As indicated, that market right now would like to enjoy sales in excess of 20,000 lbs. by summer. Price is stable at $2.85/lb., FOB OR. I have immediate buyers for 1,200 lb and 1,500 lb lots. Stay in touch via e-mail, and feel free to call when your product is dried.
