Yes, epazote is traditionally used with beans in Mexico and Guatemala. It has a strong flavour that is increasingly becoming popular in Canada and the United States. It is excellent for digestive problems, so it stands to reason that it would be useful for controlling gas caused by beans. Thank you for pointing that out.
