Albachaca
Answered by: Yvonne Tremblay
Question from: Val Brazier

I live in Spain and have come across an ingredient called Albahaca, I have looked this up in several Spanish dictionaries to no avail. I bought tagliatelle pasta and pesto both containing this ingredient so I am presuming it is a herb. Can you help?

You are correct, it is a herb. Albahaca is the Spanish word for basil. It can be found in Spanish and Mexican recipes.
