I am writing to request information concerning plants which have shallow root systems. I am looking for plants to put in a shallow (2" app) dish inside a birdcage. Can you give me any ideas? Thanks and the bay I bought from you is coming along great!

Generally, low creeping plants have shallow root systems. Examples are corsican mint, carpet pennyroyal, rupturewort, creeping thyme and Treneague chamomile.
