I now have ashwagandha and Echinacea angustifolia along with wild lettuce ready to transplant into my garden---what are their optimal conditions for growing?

Ashwagandha likes sun to half-shade and grows in dry, stony soil. Echinacea angustifolia grows in sun and likes fertile, well-drained soil that has lime and clay in it. Wild Lettuce likes sun and grows best in well-drained to dry, alkaline soil.
