Passion Flower Duration Answered by: Inge Poot Question from: K Knebel Posted on: June 16, 1998
How long does the flower on a passion flower vine bloom?
Individual flowers of a passion flower vine last only one day, but the plant produces a succession of them, so that even under less than ideal conditions the plant will have a bloom or two open every day for the spring and most of the summer. To cut the blooms and enjoy them floating in a clear bowl of water, cut the blooms just as they are opening. They will sometimes last longer than one day in the bowl.
