Could you give me please some more information on growing conditions for Gravel Root (Eupatorium purpureum); i.e., what climate it tolerates and soil types it grows in. Could I also have the same information on uva ursi, also known as bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi)?

Gravel Root grows best in rich moist calcareous soil, but can tolerate somewhat dry conditions as well. It likes full sun or part shade. It is hardy in zones three to ten.

Uva ursi likes gritty, acid or peaty soil, which is moist or on the dry side. It should be in sun or half shade. It is hardy in zones two to six.
