Can rosemary be grown from cuttings as well as from seeds? If so, how?

Rosemary can be grown from cuttings as well as from seeds. Growing it from seeds is easier, but to conserve a particular variety the plant must be grown from a cutting or by mericloning. Use semiripe cuttings taken in summer and root with a rooting hormone in sterile moist sand in slightly alkaline conditions.

To find out all you ever wanted to know about growing herbs from seeds or cuttings you might wish to purchase the book catalogue # B4280, "Growing Herbs from Seed, Cutting & Root" by Thomas DeBaggio.
