Parsley Planted Outside in Fall?

Can parsley started in a pot be planted outside this late in fall (mid October)?

Parsley is a biennial, and although it is not hardy in our zone 5, it will survive winter zones 6 and higher. But there is not much point in trying to get another year out of your plant because parsley will go to bloom in the second year and won’t produce much leaf material. You will get better results by planting new plants in the spring.
