Tea Tree Seed Germination Answered by: Inge Poot Question from: Rick Patton Posted on: December 15, 1998
I recently purchased tea tree seeds and have been trying to germinate them under grow lights now for over 3 weeks. Any information on germination time and success rate would be greatly appreciated.
Tea tree seeds take 90 to 120 days to germinate and the seed flat should be kept quite moist. The plant can occur in swamps in its native habitat. All you need is a bit more patience and you will have tea trees for yourself as well as your friends!
