Epazote Sowing Rate Answered by: Inge Poot Question from: Marvin Beck Posted on: March 2, 1999
How much ground will 10 gram of epazote seed cover?
If you space your plants 25 centimeters apart in rows that are 90 centimeters apart, then 10 grams sown in a seedbed or plugtrays will plant one tenth of an hectare or one quarter of an acre.
If you want to plant directly into the field you will need 10 times as much seed to get the same coverage. This seed is very fine, the seedlings very small to start with and direct seeding does not work too well.
