Roseroot Seed Germination

Do you recommend cold stratification? Bottom heat? Other suggestions for germinating?

We did our seed germination tests for this seed when it came in in the fall and we surface sowed it with only the lightest covering of vermiculite. One flat was kept on a heated bench at 25 degrees Celsius and the other was in an unheated greenhouse where the temperatures dropped to about 5 to 10 degrees each night. In both places the seed came up beautifully with close to 100% germination.
