I recently received seeds of Black Mustard (Brassica nigra) from Richters which I plan to use in a botany class I teach at Connecticut College. Can you tell me what the normal maturation period is for this species? That is how many days from sowing of the seeds to maturation? Thanks.

Black mustard takes 3.1 to 4 months from the day of sowing to reach maturation (flowering and seed set).
