Nettle Leaves Turning Black

I recently received a dozen nettle plants that I transplanted in potting soil and after a few days I find that the edges of the leaves are turning black.

Please tell me what is wrong and how I may help them thrive.

The root disturbance has damaged some of the roots and not enough water is getting to the edges of the leaves. When nettles dry very slowly they turn black as they dry and you are seeing the dead edges that died slowly. Keep the plants constantly moist and the roots will recover and then the plants will grow new green leaves. Enclosing the plants in plastic bags after repotting, until new leaves start to grow, might have prevented the problem.
