Transplanting Lavender and Thyme

I have started lavender and thyme from seed I will soon transplant to two inch (5 centimeter) containers. Do I want multiple seedlings for the lavender in each pot? This is how I was going to transplant the thyme. What do you think?

Lavender forms quite a bushy plant quite early in its development. I think one plant per 2 inch/5 cm pot is enough. You might want to put in two if the plants are still very small, to make sure at least one per pot survives.

Thyme tends to get very long before it starts to branch and for this reason it produces a nicer looking pot plant if several plants are put into each pot.
