I have a 7 acres land I would like to cultivate most of it with alfalfa, say 6 acres. Could please let me know how many kilogram (kg) I would need and the price.

You need 9 to 17 kg per hectare depending on how good your soil is. Better soil will need less. The seed is usually broadcast over the tilled field. In acid soil, it needs to be preceeded by lime as alfalfa has poor acid tolerance. To get an estimate of your needs in kg per acre, just divide the number of kg per hectare by 2.5.

Therefore, for 6 acres you will need about 17 to 40kg of seed. Check our online catalogue at http://www.richters.com for the price in your currency.
