Can you tell me at what age and season henna flowers (Lawsonia inermis – I think)?

Since henna is a shrub that will grow to 7 meters (20 feet) tall, it will have to reach at least 2 meters (6 feet) in height before it is mature enough to bloom. How long it takes to get to this size depends greatly on the conditions it is grown under. It prefers well drained, sandy soil in sun and wants winter minimum temperatures to be 10 degrees Celsius or 50 degrees Fahrenheit. In a tropical climate it will reach this size in about 2 years, but under glass this can take three times as long or more!

Its highly fragrant white, rose or cinnabar-red flowered panicles are produced in summer.
