Parsley Harvesting Question Answered by: Inge Poot Question from: Gorg Posted on: July 5, 2002
My parsley is about 4 to 5 inches tall (10 to 12 centimeters) and the leaves are lying on the earth. Do I cut the top part?
Cut the outside leaves probably the ones that are lying on the earth -- first. As long as they are green, washing is all that is required to ready them for the kitchen. Always leave the 3 to 4 youngest leaves on the plant to allow it to make more food and thus grow.
Check our web-site www.richters.com under "Q&A", "Magazine Rack", "Online Seminars" for more information on growing and harvesting.
