When to Pick Leaves for Raspberry Tea Answered by: Conrad Richter Question from: Kurt Ledbury Posted on: August 07, 2004
Have you ever made your own raspberry tea? If so, when is the appropriate time to pick the leaves? Is it hard on the plant?
Like most herbs, the optimum time to harvest the leaves is just as the flowers begin to open. The plant can tolerate harvesting of up to a third of the foliage. But naturally the fruit yield will be suppressed partially or completely.
