Fall Sowing Thyme Seeds

I just purchased some of the Lemon Thyme Magic Carpet seeds. I was hoping to be able to sow them this fall, but I’m not sure if that’s okay. I live outside of Albuquerque. We usually do not get a frost until late October or early November. I’m also wondering if sowing them in very late fall, as I’ve done with wildflowers, would be a possibility. I don’t have the space indoors to grow them in pots. If I need to, I can wait until spring. What’s your call?

I would take the chance. Thyme is quite hardy and should be able to withstand your winter well.
