Pruning Hops

I’m growing some hops on a trellis system this year and the vines have reached the top of my lines with no further room for them to continue to grow in length. Can I prune off the end of the vine at the top and force it to bush out more or will this kill the vine?

No, light pruning will not harm the vine. We prune our pot plants all the time to keep them within bounds. As a result of the pruning they never flower for us in the greenhouse, but on your trellis, with a one time light pruning, I am sure they will flower, just a little later than they would have done without pruning.
