I am trying to find this plant and am not sure if maybe you know it by a different name in this area. It’s also known as pearly everlasting, cotton weed, large- flowered everlasting, as stated by John Lust in The Herb Book.

I always refer to it as pearly everlasting when I ask for it and have been unable to come across any one in the greenhouse industry who knows of it. Most of my searching was in the Peterborough-Lakefield area but I named it pearly everlasting to your staff as well and they advised I write in and ask for advice so I am just doing that.

I am familiar with this plant. We grew it many years ago, but it was not well known and we didn’t sell much of it. We should be able to get seeds on a special order basis. But special orders for seeds usually require that the customer take a bulk quantity of seed. If you are interested, contact our commercial department at commercial@richters.com.
