Ground Cover Between Flagstones Answered by: Koidu Sulev Question from: Laurice Posted on: February 11, 2009
I am looking for a low growing plant to plant between flagstone and that will not cover them. It is also important to me that the plant does not attract wasps or bees. I would like to purchase plugs if I could.
You did not mention where you live so I do not know the hardiness zone. Corsican mint would be suitable for Zone 6 and warmer. It does best in half shade. Minus thyme is low growing and blooms only once. There will be some bees when it is in flower. You can mow the flowers to avoid the bees. These two are the least likely not to cover the flagstones. | | |
