Is there a connection between low thyroid and joint pain?

Yes, joint pain is associated with an under-active thyroid gland. Other symptoms can include dry skin, brittle hair, fatigue, slow pulse, headaches, intolerance to cold, slowness of movement and constipation.

Hypothyroid is usually treated with thyroxin hormone medication which may be supplemented with herbal therapy.
