What will relieve rhinitis symptoms? A polyp was removed in the nasal cavity, but has grown back. A lot of mucous buildup.

In general, you want to build your immune system, nourish the mucous membrane lining of the nose and reduce the mucous production. The following remedies are helpful:

Tea: Elderflower strengthens the mucous membranes and is anti-inflammatory. Chamomile is anti-inflammatory and calming. Drink a tea of these combined herbs three times a day.

Tinctures: Echinacea strengthens the immune system. Goldenseal and Plantain are good for repairing the mucous membranes of the nose.

Garlic is an effective antibiotic. It can be taken internally, and a sliver of fresh garlic can be placed on the polyp in the nose.

A steam inhalation of a few drops of essential oil of eucalyptus, chamomile, rosemary in a bowl of very hot water will soothe inflammation and disinfect the area. Place a towel over your head so that it also covers the bowl and inhale the steam for 5-10 minutes.

The diet should exclude dairy to decrease mucous production, and include lots of fresh fruit to clear the toxins. Try to eat 3 pieces of fresh fruit every morning.
