I could use information on how to find an herbalist in my area.

Listed below are some useful country-specific links. If you don’t find a practitioner near you, check the notice boards at local health food stores or other similar locations.

United States:

The American Herbalists Guild (AHG) represents well qualified herbalists in the United States. Please see their web site at http://www.americanherbalistsguild.com for contact information.

You can also contact the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians referral line at: (206)323-7610. Or check out the searchable database on the AANP’s home page at: http://www.naturopathic.org.

The American Holistic Medical Association has a database of practitioners searchable by state and by specialty at: http://www.holisticmedicine.org.

The American Association of Oriental Medicine is there, too on the web: http://www.aaom.org.

Canada:

Ontario Herbalists Association: http://www.herbalists.on.ca
Canadian Naturopathic Association: http://www.naturopathicassoc.ca

United Kingdom:

National Institute of Herbal Medicine: http://www.nimh.org.uk

Australia:

National Herbalists Association of Australia: http://www.nhaa.org.au

New Zealand:
