I would like to get off enalapril, an ACE inhibitor, which is prescribed for my high blood pressure, because of the side effects of insomnia and frequent flushing, etc. Is there a safe herbal alternative?

Herbs, along with diet and lifestyle changes, are very safe and successful in reducing high blood pressure when you are under the care of an experienced natural health practitioner. The recommended herbs are different for each individual, depending on the signs and symptoms presented. I suggest that you visit an experienced natural health care practitioner, who will design a program especially for you, and monitor your progress while you are changing from drugs to herbs.
