Grapefruit Pectin Causing Acidic Problem

I am presently taking grapefruit pectin with orange juice, but it appears to be too much acid. Can I mix pectin with something else and continue to take it? Or should I stop taking pectin altogether?

Any time that a food, supplement or herb creates undesirable side effects, it should be discontinued. I recommend that you replace boith the orange juice and the pectin with an apple. Apples are high in pectin, and you get the benefit of the fibre in the fresh apple.
